Get your free TMDB key

Beebo uses TMDB — a free movie database — to fill in your posters, cast photos, and descriptions. You just add your own free key. It takes about three minutes, and you only do it once.

Last step — back in Beebo: open Settings → TMDB API key, paste your key into the box, and click Save. Posters and cast photos start filling in. That’s the whole setup!

Getting a key for your own home server is free. If you ever run Beebo commercially, TMDB may require a separate commercial licence — see TMDB’s API terms. This guide uses TMDB and is not endorsed or certified by TMDB; TMDB and the TMDB logo are trademarks of The Movie Database.
