Beebo Entertainment (com.beeboentertainment.movie) is a personal media player: it connects to your own home media server and streams the movies and TV shows you already own to your phone. This policy explains, honestly and completely, what the app does with your information.
In short: everything the app handles stays between your phone and your own server. Nothing is sent to the developer, to Google, or to any third party. There are no ads, no analytics, and no trackers, and nothing is ever sold or shared.
Beebo Entertainment is a client for a media server that runs on your own computer. Your video files live on that computer. The app catalogs them, shows posters and details, and plays them by streaming directly between your phone and your server.
That's all. Nothing here reaches the developer, and there is no advertising identifier anywhere in the app. Two features do read more, and only when you choose to use them: the Campsite Scavenger Hunt reads your location to pin a find (that stays on your phone unless you share the waypoint with your own group), and Space Saver reads the photos and files you point it at, to copy them to your own home computer.
Video and the items above travel only between your phone and your own server. Away from home that connection is encrypted end-to-end and goes straight from your device to your computer. On your own home Wi-Fi it is a direct local connection, and you can switch on full HTTPS in the desktop app under Settings. Your video never passes through the developer’s servers. Signing in and making the away-from-home connection use a small coordination service we run, which sees your account email and connection details — never your library, and never your video.
The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no trackers, and nothing about your use of it is measured or reported to anyone. It does include two third-party components, both from Google and both doing exactly one job: the Cast library, so you can send a film to a Chromecast, and the WebRTC library, which is what connects your phone straight to your computer when you’re away from home. Neither reports anything about you.
Beebo Entertainment ships with no media of its own. It plays only the content you provide from your own server. You are responsible for the media in your library.
This is a general-purpose personal utility and is not directed at children. It collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
On-device data (your saved login, viewing progress, and any downloads) is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. Anything stored on your own server is under your control on that server.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same address with a new effective date.
