How to play
- The standard 52-card deck is dealt face down, 26 cards to each player. Neither player chooses or sees the next card.
- Both players turn a card; neither turned card is shown until both have turned. The higher rank wins both cards. Ace is high.
- On a tie, each player buries up to three cards but keeps one to turn face up. The next comparison decides the entire pile; another tie means another war. A player without a card to continue loses.
- Cards won are shuffled under the winner's pile. Whoever takes all cards wins. A stubborn game stops after 300 comparisons and the player holding more cards wins; equal holdings draw.
War has no choices or ranking rewards. All controls support touch, mouse, keyboard and TV remote focus. This game stores nothing and sends nothing to a server.
